Meet your expert guide at the hotel lobby, take your first taste of Phnom Penh by visiting the Cambodia’s Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda complex. The Royal Palace was built in 1866 and stands in the center of Phnom Penh just in front of the riverfront area. The magnificent Silver Pagoda, which floor is lined with 5329 solid silver tiles and each one weight 1Kilogram. Next a short walk to visit the National Museum, a marvelous architectural building with traditional style. The museum is filled with Khmer pre-angkorean era arts including sculptures, bronze, Khmer ceramic and ethnographic objects that lead you deeper into the perfect craftsmanship of the era.

Continue your tour by exploring the Wat Phnom hill, a Phnom Penh’s iconic destination. Then head to Toul Sleng Genocide Monument, a high school where the Khmer Rouge renamed it as S-21 and a place to torture, interrogation and execution. Now it becomes a museum which serves as a testament to the crimes of the Khmer Rouge. Take a quick drive to Toul Tompung market (Russian Market) for a free and leisure time; don’t forget to get yourself a souvenir item.
